Event Alert System

This year we have introduced a colour-coded Event Alert System (EAS), which will be used to communicate the status of course conditions on race day.

The levels range from Low (green) to Moderate (yellow) to High (red) to Extreme (black), based on the weather and other course conditions. On race day, the current status will be communicated via colour-coded flags in numerous places around the Race village, the start and finish areas and along the course at each drinks station, so keep an eye out for them.

Please familiarise yourself with the EAS prior to race day, remain aware for directions from event staff and take precautions to prepare properly for varying weather or course conditions.
