The Cystic Fibrosis Trust

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the UK's only national charity dealing with all aspects of Cystic Fibrosis. It funds medical and scientific research aimed at understanding, treating and curing Cystic Fibrosis, campaigns for improved services and aims to ensure that people with Cystic Fibrosis receive the best possible care and support in all aspects of their lives.

Around half the CF population (9,000 in the UK) can expect to live over 38 years although improvements in treatment mean that a baby born today can expect to live even longer. We lose three young people every week, 90% from lung damage.
